How does the 'Whichever is Lower' rule protect me?
Your monthly tier is determined by monthly order volume OR extra revenue generated—whichever is lower. For example, if your store processes 2,500 orders but Supercart only generated $1,800 in extra revenue that month, you are billed at Tier 1 ($9.99), not Tier 6 ($99.99). You are never penalized if your volume is high but your cart upsells were light.
How does cumulative usage billing work?
Every store starts at Tier 0 ($0 Free Forever). When your store processes 16 orders, you incur a +$9.99 usage charge. If you cross 100 orders, you incur an additional +$9.00, bringing your total to $18.99. You only ever pay for the incremental volume you actually unlock during your billing cycle.
What happens at the end of each billing month?
Your order count and added revenue counters automatically reset to 0 at the start of every billing cycle. If you experience a seasonal dip or quiet month, your tier drops and you automatically pay less. You are never locked into an expensive contract during slow periods.
What is GMV, and do you take any commission or percentage of my sales?
GMV stands for Gross Merchandise Value — the total gross dollar volume of sales processed across your store.
